Dry Camping - We normally do not stay at the ghost town, so there are no hookups. Usually we stay outside on the dry lake bed or if we get someone up there early enough we can camp in one of the canyons.

 

Wet Camping - If you choose to camp at the ghost town they do have hookups available at a charge.

 

Riding - The riding here is typical desert riding for the most part, but here are Calico there are a lot of canyons to ride around in. The trail type can vary from easy to very difficult and there is a lot of open space as well. All riders will have a great time riding here due to the fact that you can be challenged as much as you want to be.

 

Location - Calico is located 10 miles north of Barstow off Interstate 15, you will need to exit the I-15 at Ghost Town Rd.

Take Interstate 15 North

10 miles past Barstow Exit Ghost Town Road

Turn Left off the off ramp and go under the freeway

Turn right at the dirt road, about 3/4 of a mile from the off ramp
